I feel relatively huge for 27 weeks and everyone else in my family, random strangers, etc think I'm due within the next month. I honestly feel like I did at the very end of my pregnancy with my daughter, weigh and size wise. Just wondering what the chances are that they may have missed another baby in there? LOL this is probably a stupid question but I really feel huge!!!

Have you already had an u/s? I have a friend that didn't have an early scan, but at 22 weeks she looked 9 months pregnant. Went for her anatomy scan and sure enough there were two babies!
She said she wasn't THAT surprised because she could feel movement ALL over the place and at 22 weeks the babies not THAT big to be able to move at the same time on both sides of her belly.

I've had ultrasounds and they all say one baby and she's a girl, but I do feel movement everywhere! At 27 weeks my uterus isn't too high, is it? I feel kicks way way low by my cervix, she kicks and punches it constantly, and then I'll feel movement way above my belly button sometimes by my ribs already!!! weird because with my first I felt the movements higher up as she grew

Likely it's just one baby. And yes that can be very normal to feel movement up by your ribs at that gestation. I had that with my 3rd baby. A real kicker! And all over the place from early on;)

I know I keep thinking there's no way they'd miss another one but this pregnancy is just so different than my last one lol!

Yeah I've discovered each pregnancy is SO different. This is my 4th and it's drastically different than my other 3. I would say that if there were two babies they would for sure be able to see both babies at your anatomy scan. It would be easy to miss a 2nd baby on an early ultrasound cause they are so tiny at that point. At 20+ weeks they are so much bigger, hard to miss.

I was massive with my 2nd pregnancy. Constantly asked if i was having twins. He was just a big boy, 9lb and 54cm long. Im huge again after being small with my 3rd. My hubby joked and said are you sure there isn't two in there :brat: im almost at big as i was at 41 weeks with my last bub!!! I can't imagine how big ill be by the end :(

I'm 25 weeks with our 3rd, our first little girl. I feel movement from my pubic bone all the way up into my ribs. There is definitely only one little lady! She just moves all the time! I would highly doubt they missed a baby.

I really doubt that they would miss a baby. I know it does happen very occasionally but I think by 25 weeks they'd know :)

Yep...know the feeling! I've got people asking me "its for any day now, right?"... Only 12+ weeks to go....

I had a friend who was a surprise second baby. But they were born in 78. I think technology has come a long way. My little man has become crazy active my husband actually uses both hands to feel all of his wiggles and kicks. And my tummy is still pretty dang small. Still not in my maternity clothes at six months.

People tell me the baby will be here very soon now and I am only 23 weeks along....

I also feel kicks all over the place and on the left and right at the same time but it is just one little guy. That late they would not overlook another one. ;)

Same here, kicks all over the place, up high by ribs while simultaneously down by pubic bone, side to side at once...ONE baby, but I look HUGE for 25 weeks (3rd child) so I have been wondering this myself!

It was clear as day at 12 week and 20 week scan that there was 2 in there but like pp have mentioned, it has happened occasionally that they miss one. x

Oh - and my friend was huuuuge, she looked bigger than me ( and I was big!!) - turned out it was all waters as her baby girl was just over 7,5lbs when born 1 week after due date! x

I have a few theories lol

Maybe I just look so big right now because I just popped out a month ago and everyone else is used to seeing me tiny, I was huge with my first pregnancy towards the end too though. I don't show much until around 5ish or 6 months.

OR - I see a lot of ladies around here that are due soon and are as big as I am now, maybe people just think it's normal to have a tiny belly fit for a 5 or 6 pound baby? I made a big one last time, 8 lbs even.

With my second, I was huge. My SIL was due 2 months before me but it looked like I was going to pop first. I did have a twin placenta but only one baby (may be was a vanishing twin? I don't know) but also I had a lot of water. During birth whenever the nurses would try to examine down there I kept leaking loads of water despite them having popped my waters. I'm not drinking so much water at night this time and find may be that's helped me this time as I'm not so bloated. Good luck

I have noticed that too I don't drink as much at night as I did with my daughter, I think I drank like 5 or 6 bottles of water with her this time I'm down to 3 - doc says I'm fully hydrated so I think that had a lot to do with my bloating and stuff with her lol

I used to get a lot of swelling in my legs an feet post pregnancy too. When I gave up on the water at night it's helped loads, if not gotten better altogether.
