• Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. for Christmas dinner :D?

I am going to make Turkey crown , roast potatoes , carrots , brocili because we don't like Brussels , mash , turnip , gravy , pigs in blankets . yorkshires. Mmmmmmm :happydance:

Edit : Forgot my fav stuffing (L)

and Homemade chocolate cake for desert mmm :D
 
Hmm dunno, full on roast but def not turkey (i dont like the stuff) My OH is cooking for my family so i dont know what he'll do!
 
christmas is the only day ever have 3courses in our house lol, me and LO having prawn cocktail, and OH pate, then for main course were having Chicken (we hate turkey) roast potatos, mash, yorkies, stuffing, carrots, green beans cranberry sauce and gravy, and were gunna have something big and chocolatey for dessert, yum yum :)

we will be having

leg of lamb
sausages in bacon
stuffing with sausage meat
yorkshire puds
mash
roasties
roast parsnips
peas
broc & cauli

then for desert, choc orange puddings x
 
prawn cocktail or soup and OH will have pate on toast

turkey
maple roast parsnips and carrots
roast potatos
yorky puds
sprouts with butter and bacon
pigs in blanket
3 types of stuffing!
bread sauce
cranberry sauce

m&s white chocolate bombe, christmas pudding, trifle, mince pies, cheese and crackers (any combo u want!)

I have no idea :wacko: I'm actually a bit nervous about it because we're going to MIL's and I've never been there before for Christmas dinner... :lol:

and of course, gravy!

We've vetoed starter for the past couple of years as we're all too full, but yet to have decided on what desserts! we're thinking a something with chocolate and perhaps a cheese cake or toffee and pecan roulade.
 
I think we're having

Duck
mashed potatoes
cornbread dressing
homemade hot rolls
and some kind of veg

will also try and figure out something for dessert

naww..easy as ...though I should mention Im a trained chef....haha This year is much more simple and smaller menu than what we usually have!
but I will have a brand new baby as I will most likely be induced the week before Christmas! ...will have to come back and repost how we go!! :)

im cooking christmas dinner for my parents and in-laws this saturday and this is what we are having;

Starter;

Main;

Smoked gammon
Roast potatoes
extra stuffing
pigs in blankets
sprouts
parsnips
carrots
yorkshire puddings
cranberry and horseradish sauce if they want it

Dessert;
Homemade tiramisu
profitarolls
cheesecake
 
I dont know , we usually go out to a lovely reasturant but we have cancelled all arrangments , we will be having our Christmas Dinner at the Hospital as a huge family , to be closer to my Grandad in ICU. We dont do christmases without it other , so the party comes to him :) Although he wont actaully be there, we all as a family will then pop into see him to wish him a merry christmas after :)
 
I got OH to ask MIL what we're having. We're having beef and turkey (yum) and we're going to talk her into cooking a piece of gammon too! :rofl:
 
We are having a three bird roast, duck meat wrapped in chicken then turkey, with roasties, yorkshire's, stuffing, pigs in blankets, honey roasted parsnips, sweetcorn.

Don't think we will have a starter but it will be xmas pudding for me and OH,the kids will probably have choclate:)
