I just got back from another ultrasound. Bean's head is measuring 4 weeks ahead!!! But the rest of him is right on par with where I'm at with my dates. His dad has a big head and so does his son from previous relationship so I know where he gets it but I'm kinda freaking out! I'm tiny and I deff have tiny hips, I dunno how the heck I'm going to push him out! Or if I should even try! Ahhh

I also have a possible bicornuate uterus or at least a septum but they don't know to what extent. So it's possible it's in the way of his "exit route" but also completely possible it won't affect his way out at all.

Last time I saw my ob specialist (who I see due to the prob with my uterus ) she said we'd "wait and see" but it's possible I'd need an emcs if he can't get out, due to the big head.
But I'm worried about being in labour for hours and hours trying to push him out and it won't work so end up having a csection anyway. If I'm going to have a csection I'd rather just plan ahead for it.

There's pros and cons to both having baby naturally/vaginally or having a csection I know...but I just don't know what I should do.
I also don't know what my specialist will say if I say I want a planned csection. I'm worried shell try to talk me out of it and I'll give in because I don't want to argue and assume she knows best.

So what are your opinions on it all ladies?
What would you do?

hey there, well speaking as someone who pushed for a section but ended up needing an emcs i would not take no for an answer even if your specialist tries to dissuade you, but i think more likely they will mention the pros and cons of both vaginal and surgical births with you and they wont want to wait until it becomes an emergency if your babies head is too big and your pelvis is narrow, they will need to keep en eye on you as my mother in law had a narrow pelvis and could not give birth vaginally and her first birth was a trial of labour ending in emcs and the poor baby girl was so traumatized that my MIL could not hold her for two days as she had to go to the special baby unit and suffered extreme shock from being surgically removed after hours of painful labour and trying to push her little head through the canal. so my MIL had all sections afterwards and recovered perfectly and this was in the 70s and 80s so yeah u will be in safe hands
i would go for the section, i do not regret mine at all :)
