What are your opinions on these names?

We are not sharing names with our family and friends as we have been put off a few favourites by people's wrinkled nose reactions. So I just wanted some independent opinions of some of the names on our lists.

I'm a teacher and have deliberately steered away from popular names, not because I mind my child having the same name as other children, more because I don't want to teach an annoying one in the future and end up hating the name!

Please can I have any comments on the following names. We will have middle names but undecided yet, want to get first names sorted first and then see what goes!

Stevie - hmmm maybe or as a nickname
Edie - Cute -
Jeannie - not too fond of
Elliott - hmmm could grow on me - can be an ellie for short
Robyn - nice

Boys
Edward (Ted / Teddy) - good choice
Stanley (Stan) - hmmm I see it as more of an old mans name
Murray - maybe
Felix - nice
Lennox - reminds me too much of china
Frankie - like as a nickname for Frank
Harper - unisex but I see it more on girls

Eloise and Lennox are lovely. I also think you should consider Harper for a girls name, very beautiful!

Love Stevie and Robyn for girls, Edie is quite cute too , Obviously love Frankie and Edward (Ted/Teddy) for boys . xx

Jeannie - As an alternative, have you thought of Jinnie?.

Edward - Personally i don't like it shortened though, but love Edward.
