Hi was just wondering what bottles are the best?
I used Dr Brown bottles on my daughter, but it was a lot of effort cleaning them because of all the different parts in it. Is there any other bottles that are as good or better?

I've still awhile before babys here, but just wanted to know lol

Thank you

My daughter is breastfed, but we just started to introduce a bottle just in case I have to be away from her for some reason. We tried a ton of different bottles/nipples and the only one she will take is the Nuk brand. She will also only take a Nuk pacifier.

We tried a lot of different bottles because we also didn't love all of the parts on the Dr. Browns bottles. After much experimenting, we realized that the Dr. Browns really were the most effective. The one thing that helped us a lot were the Dr. Browns dishwasher baskets. They made it much, much easier to wash all of the parts.

I tried lots of bottles with my DD as the milk would dribble out the sides of her mouth and more would leak than she drank!
The best ones were MAM anti colic. They have a flat teat and she took to them straight away.
Also easy to clean and sterilise.

We used Dr. Brown's and Tommee Tippee with my last DD (she was breastfed). Haven't introduced a bottle to this baby yet but hoping to use the same kinds if she'll take them.

Another vote for Dr Brown's. Used them with DD1 and now again for DD2. Tried loads with DD1 and she wouldn't settle. This time went straight for Dr Brown's. Although I agree.. Nightmare to clean!. X

We tried Dr Browns for colic too, they seemed to work but the cleaning was driving me insane with that tiny little brush in all the tiny holes. They didn't fit in the microwave steriliser I had already bought before we switched.

We swapped to the mam anti colic self sterilising ones. They worked just as well for the wind/colic I would say. They are much easier to clean, and I love that thi go in the microwave without a steriliser. Much much easier. Would recommend.

^^second that!! Dr.browns were good but I hated cleaning the damn things!! We got the avent natural this time

Thanks everyone! I will look into the other bottles you have named :)

I used Dr Browns last time but like you really didn't like the cleaning side to them. I have been looking online at reviews and think I am going to give the MAM ones ago this time, they seem pretty similar, have good reviews and not as much faffing about. :)

If you're planning to combo feed, I highly recommend Lanisoh bottles. The teats are fantastic at mimicking being on the breast. Plus there are only three parts to clean.

Avent are great and they don't leak like a lot of other brands.

We are using dr Browns atm I use my dishwasher to clean them so it's a lot easier than when I had dd2 x
