hi,

this may sound daft but what blenders do you use?

i have a tesco 1 speed hand held and its useless apart from making milk shakes and we are looking at getting a new 1 especially as we will be needing to puree food for blake (he's only having baby rice or fruity baby youghurt powder that you mix with milk at mo.)

its main uses will be milkshakes and blakes food. ideas greatful.

I have one of these, does the job a treat. x

thanks ladies.

went tesco as they had a phillips on offer, didnt get the phillips but a £60 brevil (Sp) Pro blender and chopper reduced to £19. it seems to do loads and has lots of attachments etc.

wow Tesco have loads on offer..t think I'll get a new one too!!

i am on my 4th! :oops::oops:
had a hand blender which i broke, and have just broken the lid of my lindam baby chopper thingy so that doesn't work anymore.

i got a tesco value hand blender which is rubbish cos it is one solid peice so a nightmare to clean properly. so i have just got a new one from sainsburys was £15 (half price) and is a handblender with a chopper units and a whisk! must try not to break this one :blush:

but i would say they handblenders do a better job of getting things smooth than the little mini choppers
