What bottles do you use? 6 month plus

Hi ladies

My LB is nearly 8 months old, he's been on tommee tippee closer to nature bottles since birth but they keep getting blocked or causing an airlock so the milk won't come out.

I want to change but don't want to spend a fortune as he won't be using them for much longer! What bottles do you recommend?

I use the same with size 3 teats

Have you tried variflow teats? There bigger so don't block as easy. We're on stay down milk and gaviscon so blocking up is a right pain for us but with these teats it's a lot better.

Don't forget changing bottles will usually mean having to buy all teats aswell as they only come with number 1s so can work out expensive.

Have you made sure the valve is open at every feed? Sometimes it can stick together.

But we use Dr Browns have done since day one

Yeah I check them whilst I wash them.

xLaura that's a good point I didn't think about that!

I think it's because he's on nutramigen, it doesn't dissolve very well so im now makin them warmer so the powder dissolves better!
