What brand of formula?

We started H on Aptamil but its so expensive i thought of switching to a cheaper brand. Does anyone know which is most common? best selling brand?

I think its SMA, but we use cow and gate, i think they're all quite expensive tbh xx

SMA is slightly cheaper, followed by Cow and Gate, then Aptamil. I don't know how expensive Hipp organic is as nowhere I shop sells it. Most people I know use Cow and Gate but Aptamil is the one that always seems to sell out quickest at Morrisons and Tesco. (typical as that's what I use!) No idea officially though which one is more popular.

Aptamil is £8.47, SMA is £7.69, Cow and Gate is £7.23 and Hipp Organic is £6.99.

I use Aptamil Comfort It's not that much more expensive hun.

We use aptimal first milk. It is expensive but they all seem to be IMO.

yeah i am using Aptamil first milk too, i thought if i was buying lots switching to cheaper would be saving a few pounds (am trying to budget!)

Also when do they switch to number 2 milk? and whats comfort milk for?>xx

We use Hipp and as mentioned above it is £6.99 a box, however, it is only an 800g box, whereas I believe most other brands are 900g boxes for about the same price as Hipp. Tbh I think all formula is quite expensive, we get through about a box and a half per week x

I don't think there is much money to be saved really by switching, like I said they're all fairly expensive and priced similarly.

Not sure about other brands, but I know Hipp number 2 is for hungry babies e.g when they are constantly taking an 8/9oz bottle and then still hungry. As for comfort milk, I think its for babies with reflux/problems keeping thier milk down?? x
