So... I am not ovulating :( The doctor gave me Provera to jump start my cycle, then she wants me to take 2 months of birth control to help get my hormones under control, then I will be given Clomid! I have done research about it and know most of the side effects and chances of success, BUT what was your personal experience? Did you get pregnant, if so how many cycles?
I just really want this to work and I cannot wait for October 4th to get here!!!

Hi Sheilarae07,

Unfortunatley I am not a sucess story yet! I am now on my 2nd month of 50mg clomid cd 2-6. I did ovulate last month but the :witch: got me. Last month clomid made me really moody thats all. However this month I have had no symptoms at all and I take my last tablet tomorow.

Best of luck to you and hope you get your :bfp: soon

Sending you lots of :dust: x

hey, have not been a success story as of yet but remaining hopefuly for this cycle. I am currently on my third cycle of clomid 50 mg, days 5-9. i have ovulated all three cycles (confirmed with progesterone levels cycle 1 and 2 and just had a positive opk again this cycle) as far as symptoms go, really the only thing i have is hot flashes. i do have lots of symptoms related with ovulating now since i never did before but nothing too unbearable. more emotionally draining though as you invest a lot of time and effort and hope into using the clomid and expecting instant results. hoping for a bfp this cycle or i dont know what we will do!!

Hi Sarlar,

have u had symptoms in the 2ww from the clomid?

i'm currently in my 2ww, (first round of clomid 50mg 2-6) And have no symptoms...

i've had the headaches (mildly - on and off) but thats about it....

good luck this cycle :flower:

pink- unfortunately i get a TON of symptoms in the 2ww...probably why the last couple cycles have been so heartbreaking as i always feel like i MUSt be pregnant. i have gotten nausea, headaches, bloating, gas, constipation, tiredness, very painful bbs and nips, bumps on nips, back ache, cramps, you name it really. even had metallic taste in my mouth last month- tasted like i was sucking on an old penny. basically i have learned that symptoms with clomid and the 2ww mean absolutely nothing. people with no symptoms get bfps and people like me with everything get af!!! good luck to you this cycle as well!!

thanks for replying Sarlar...i think everyone must be different....

my prayers are with u too xoxo

I will be starting my second cycle soon. FX. Like sarlar I have had every pregnancy symptom there was and still have some even after AF. Most of my symptoms started right after ovulation. I experienced a few minor headaches while taking the pills, nothing major but then ovulation came and the sever ovary pain started. The pain subsided after ovulation but as I said earlier that is when everything else started:
swollen breast, nipples sore, blue veins in breast, lower back ache, nausea, cramps, nasal stuffiness, increased urination, the whole nine yards hun. It is something awful. I am hoping that my body adjusted to Clomid and this cycle will not be as bad.

Good luck. Everyone's experience is different. Fingers crossed for you:flower:

I'm right there with hopeful & sarlar -- a ridiculous amount of pg symptoms all the way through the 2ww. Part of it, though, was the hcg trigger shot, which may or may not be a part of your experience. I was doing clomid & shot for an IUI.
