Wish you knew before you ttc #1?
I thougy id ask as the bnb ladies are very knowladgeable.
I'm wanting to gain as much info as i can before i ttc in 2016 (I know i have a long time yet)

I wish I'd known that it's not all black and white.

When taught Sex Education at school, you're basically told "If you have sex at any stage in your cycle, you will get pregnant and you will get an STI." They should really be more truthful.

I agree I'm abit clueless all I know is I need to bd at around when ever the middle of my cycle is but I do want to know more to higher the success rate

You'll hear a lot of conflicted arguments about how often to have sex, even specialists change their minds. When I was on Clomid mine told me every other day and now I'm on injections he told me every day.

The consensus is, either is fine. Many chose to have sex every other day through out their cycle, that way there will always be plenty of sperm waiting for the egg.

It's also better for you to orgasm after he ejaculates. If he ejaculates as close to your cervix as possible, the sperm will pool there, when you orgasm, your cervix will dip down into that pool and pull the sperm up.

Thanks I feel abit stupid asking these sorts of questions but at my age it's not something I'm comfortable going to my mum for as I'm 22 I don't really want my mum knowing my sex life lol might be more comfortable come ttc time as I'll be 25

You'll find out plenty of information here. Definitely stalk the TTC boards.

Also, come of BC about six months before you plan TTC, that way, your're body can regulate again and you can get to know your cycle.

Thank you im on the patch so wasn't sure when to come off it as I use it to help with the pain I get as I end up doubled over and feel very sick when my period comes that's one thing of ttc I'm dreading lol
