What do I do?

Things with FOB are getting so bad I actually can't cope with him anymore, I'm sitting here feeling so sick at the thought of contact tomorrow The abuse is getting too much for me to take, just feel so shit
I'm not sure what to do...
Do I?

a) Ask his mum if she can have him and Connor one evening a week for contact. This way, he still gets to see his son, it's still supervised, but I don't have to deal with him. I get on with his mum really well.

or

b) Stop contact altogether

If you'd be ok with his mum supervising, I'd do it that way personally.. I know you say you get on really well with her, you just need to ask yourself if she would stick to your rules iykwim.

Thanks, that's what I'm worried about... I'm scared she'll do everything for him, like nappy changes and stuff, or even worse, allow him to take Connor out on his own :/ x

maybe have a word with her, explain how you are feeling and make it clear she is not to leave them alone or do anything for FOB unless she really has to.

I'm hoping if you get on that well she wouldn't want to betray your trust in case in affects her relationship with you and LO.

I asked her yesterday, and she's fine with it She's having Connor 6-7 on Wednesdays and for a few hours on sundays... Not sure of times yet x
