My OB is sending me in for tests because I have low fetal movement, low fluid, fundal height is behind and u/s shows baby is measuring behind. The test form that he gave me says:

"BPP
NST

Reason for booking: SGA

Special Requirements (i.e. Dopplers, IUGR, Placenta, etc.)
dopplers, placenta, AFL, ?IUGR?"

What do the terms mean/what are they going to be doing or looking for?

BPP- Bio physical profile
NST - non stress test
SGA - small for gestational age
IUGR -Intrauterine Growth Restriction

For AFL I only found AFLP - Acute fatty liver of pregnancy

Hope this helps you.

AFL is more likely amniotic fluid level or AFI which is amniotic fluid index.

Good luck with your tests x
