Oscar?

I know it's quite a popular pet name, so already thought of that one!!

With shortened version/nickname type thing Oz, Ozzie, Oscy??

Like you said its a popular pets name, as I know 3 dogs called Oscar I wouldnt personally consider it as a childs name , but there are plenty of children called it, and if you like it then thats all that matters . xx

Well, my daughters name is Mya, I personally don't think it's a name you give a pet but the other day I saw a thread in 3rd tri with someone introducing their puppy named Mya!!!! theres me thinking its a pretty, girly name fit for my princess but now shes also sharing it with a dog

The moral of the story is..... Someone out there will have a pet with the name you love. It doesn't downgrade it though, its just the way people see things differently.

I like Oscar, I've not heard any pets called it so if me it's just a boys name.

I wouldn't worry about the pet thing, i don't know any pets called Oscar, its a boys name to me .

I agree with Cupcake that there is always going to be a pet out there with the name you love, don't worry.
