Hey girls,

Kind of a pointless thread...just my curiosity getting the better of me. When you hear people talk about "my heavily pregnant cousin, sister," etc. What do you picture when you hear that? I consider over 34 weeks to be pretty pregnant, seeing as how thats when a lot of restrictions begin like some airlines not allowing you to fly, resting more, etc.. Once again just curious to hear what you all think ;)

I think 30+ is heavily pregnant. But I'm 24 weeks and my hubby has already referred to me as a whale lol so I am guessing opinions differ.

I would say 35+ weeks

However, with all my bloat, and being pregnant with twins, I've already felt heavily pregnant more than once at 18 weeks :haha:

I'm 31+3 and don't think i'm heavily pregnant yet.. I'd say 35+ weeks x

I totally think it depends on how you carry too. 30 weeks plus my son would jump and sit on my cervix. I ended up walking funny which then made my hips hurt....

It could be different for everyone. My baby was placed so weird making my lady bits have an uncomfy pressure (TMI). I had to waddle, mostly on one leg. I definitely felt heavily pregnant :haha: jk

Definitely agree with above 30 weeks

I'd agree with you - around the 34/35 week mark.

xx

I don't think I've ever been 'heavily pregnant' and I carried both of my girls until 41+5! I guess it depends on how you carry/size of bump/comfort levels etc... Id probably say those in their last few weeks, so maybe 35+ weeks. Everyone will have different opinions though

I agree with a lot of you-I may not feel heavily pregnant right now. but the way some strangers in public look at me (in a good natured way) and the expressions on their faces show me they consider me pretty pregnant lol. I guess I just find it comical. One week Im opening doors with groceries while chasing my toddler, which I dont mind doing obviously Its easy, but then a few weeks later suddenly everyone is opening doors for me and asking if I need help. I take this as they must think I find these tasks hard because im super pregnant..lol its just funny to me!

I would say 30+ weeks but everyone is different I suppose. With DS, I felt great right up until about 38 weeks and then I struggled to do much after that. With this LO, I am so much bigger and have been finding things tough for a few weeks. I was in Asda today and the lady on the checkout said "Wow, you look like a lady in waiting. You must not have long to go" I felt like ripping her head off lol!

X

I am counting on being super pregnant at 30 weeks though, as with twins you are supposed to be the same as 40 weeks in a singleton pregnancy by then. I've already got quite a bump at nearly 19 weeks, so I think I'm going to be heavily pregnant sooner than later.

6 mths onwards so 3rd tri really. The point when your bump is obvious and strangers should start offering a seat on the bus etc.

Depends how 'heavy' you look?!

If say third tri but depends on how you are carrying.

Before becoming pregnant I normally would have said 30+ weeks, but with this little guy I am already feeling and looking "heavily" pregnant. even though I'm only measuring about 2 weeks ahead I already look like I'm 48 weeks pregnant (or what i assume 48 weeks pregnant would look like :haha:)
