I'm looking to ideas to earn extra money (legally, ha!). I'm looking to earn a few extra a week to help cut down our debt.

Does anyone here do extras i.e. web based research, surveys, selling on ebay etc?

Any tips?

I know no aspect is easy, and often it takes a lot to get started. I just have no idea what to do!

Thanks for reading x

I've been looking into this myself a lot =)

One program I LOVE is Swagbucks (see my signature). My husband and I normally earn $25 each/month (redeemed as Amazon.com gift cards) using Swagbucks. We do put some effort into it to get that much, but even with minimal effort I easily earn enough Swagbucks to get $10 worth of Amazon.com gift cards/month. How it works is you use their search engine, you can do surveys, play games, watch videos, etc. and you earn Swagbucks (like points basically), and then you can redeem those points for prizes.

I don't really know what other programs are available for the UK. I know Swagbucks has a UK program, so like instead of Amazon.com gift cards you can get Amazon.co.uk cards. At least in the U.S. I can also cash in my points for paypal money, which I could then transfer to our bank account, but the Amazon cards cost less Swagbucks/dollar. Granted, it's not a lot of money, but you could put it towards a few grocery items, or gifts for weddings/birthdays/Christmas, etc. to free up some more money in your bank account.

I'm not sure what else you could do. I know Amazon also has a program called mturk, where you do menial little tasks for little pay usually, but sometimes I do that and it slowly adds up. I usually then add that to my Amazon.com account to boost my balance there, but you can add it directly to your bank account... At least in the U.S.! Sorry I guess I'm not much help since I don't know what's available there.

eBay! I usually give away most of Marleys old clothes but when money is tight, i stick them on eBay. I find that bundles sell better than individual items. I have made up to £100 a month just selling stuff we no longer need or use. I dont do it all the time, i usually do about 10-15 items over 2 weeks every couple of months. Keep an eye on the seller fees though as they dont withdraw them from your bank straight away.

I also get lots of leaflets through for odd jobs like Ironing Services, Dog Walking etc.

If you have lots of old clothes/shoes etc that have seen its day, get them weighed in and you can come out with some extra cash tht way. Not huge amounts though.

My cousin has got into selling feather earrings on eBay that she makes. They sell for £10 each.

Anything you're good at making? If you like baking you could sell cakes? Iv seen loads of people on Facebook set up their own pages selling cupcakes/cakes made to order.

I'm a WAHM--- be a freelance. Legitsites odesk, elance, guru, freelancer (www.freelancer.com/affiliates/jenet671), vworkers and others. I have been a freelance for 7months now, started as a data enterer , my rate increased now so far I am earning minimum $50 to $150per week (10-30hours). Surely it will increased as my experienced increases. Goodluck.

Just a Tip.
*Starting is the hardest part, expect to be starting in a very low rate.
*NO registration fee, if the site ask for a fee back-out, on my experienced this site is 99% scam. (it took me 1 month before I had found a legit site).
At the start fixed price could be more practical, but hourly is great.
*Good part was when your experienced already, job is so easy to have.

Goodluck, hope this helps!!
