Hi ladies,
my period isnt even due yet but I stupidly tested using a first response test this afternoon and it was a :BFN: I squinted and held it to the light and for a minute I thought I could see a very very faint line but think my eyes are playing tricks because I want it so much.

Starting to think i'm messed up this cycle and i'm out. I will be absolutely gutted as i'll have to wait another 6 weeks to ovulate as my cycles are around 60 days!! So was wondering, how do you all cheer yourself up when you realise you're out? x

When my AF shows up I get sad and very upset. But then I go out with my DH have some drinks, go out with friends and don't worry about ANYTHING. I want a BFP and baby so bad but the week AF is here can be fun because you know your pregnant and can do things worry free :)

theres not much i can do to cheer myself up when af shows or when i get a bfn apart from try and forget it! think about your new cycle and new opportunity to try!

Well I get mad:hissy: and sad:sad2: and then have a glass of:wine: After I stew over it for a couple of days I suck it up and start preparing for a new cycle:wacko: and hope that I will finally get my BFP!

Dont count yourself out yet though! Try to stay positive until you know for sure:hugs: :dust:

I cry it out at first, then choc, crisps, wine, beer....all the things I try not to eat or drink the rest of the month! Plus my hubby usually does something to cheer me up, like take me for dinner or organise a night out with friends! AF arrived this morning & I cried for a bit, had a bath & put my make-up on, went to town & got cream cakes & ice-cream! Heading out tonight with friends (hubby organised last minute night out) & just going to let my hair down & enjoy myself!
Going to Doc on Monday to get CD3 bloods so hopefully we will get some answers!

chocolate.. a girls second best friend. (after diamonds of course!!)

I normally have a few more vodka's than I think I should to cheer me up and sit in with a big huge bag of crisps :D haha.

Hahaha all these girls are right! It's best to just let loose and have fun when AF arrives!! Have some drinks, go out with the girls/guys, go for nice walks for some fresh air and alone time, read. Anything to pass the time :) Since AF has gotten, I think DH and I will go out with some friends for some much needed drinks and sushi :)

I have heard of pregnancy being "easier" when you have had a few drinks hahaha. Maybe I will try that this time around! Lord knows I have tried everything else. The good news for me is, I was actually able to get pregnant for once. Even though it ended in a chemical, it gives me hope that the HSG did it's job :)

Lol at the Ben & Jerry comment! Similarly, I spend the evening with my good friend Pinot! :p I normally cry and have a good whinge to DH then he cheers me up and we go do something. Usually I just think of trying again at next ovulation and what we can do next time to improve our chances.

Hugs to you, having such long cycles must be very frustrating xx

Glass of wine, chocolate, some inadvised shopping etc...!! My DH is good at picking me up when AF arrives but however many BFNs I get, it doesn't seem to get any easier.

Go to the movies, have a massage, go out to dinner, exercise, and of course, wine.

I buy things (and subsequently kick myself right in the rump, later on, after I realize just how much I spent). :haha: :hugs:

Pirates of the Caribean marathon and a tub of Ben & Jerrys!

I normally think about next month and what i can do to have more chances! maybe some chocolate but i normally hit that before af hehe xx

That's the stuff!!!! Although, ice cream lasts only for so long before it starts to get all soft and runny lol. Promptly replace with lots of chocolate!! :) :haha:

home made face mask and hair wrap, my onesy sleep suit (which are great for feeling cosy, not so great when you need to visit the bathroom in the middle of the night - coldness!), attempt to eat my body weight in chocolate, although usually settle for a jar of nutella and a spoon! and plenty of snuggles from hubby

i pout a little and let the boyfriend comfort me with a glass of reisling. then i cheer up waiting for the next round!
