What do you love most about Breastfeeding?

...For me, it's knowing I am making her big and strong. I love knowing she's put on weight and I've done that. It's like a huge achievement that even out of the womb I am still providing for my little girl.

i couldnt of said it better..OH still doesnt get it. why L.O is so contented feeding. we are combine feeding and he is fighting against my love to breastfeed and him wanting to make up bottles of formula. he does the night feed with a bottle of formula, last night my little girl reluctantly took the bottle, fussing all the way through it, and she still wanted her mummys milk he had to hand her over and admit defeat

I love that when she;s really upset I can put her on the boob and she'll settle almost immediatly. Could be a bad thing too but idc, i love it.

Hmm I have a few that I can't decide between haha. I think it's an amazing feeling knowing just your body is supporting another human life that isn't inside of you anymore. The bond between mother and nursing baby is amazing. And just how much I knew he enjoyed nursing, that it was something only I could do for him.

I love seeing the comfort it brings him, and the love we share. I only have to show him that I'm getting ready to BF and he'll begin to calm down, and that sigh after he latches on and starts gulping is so precious. He'll put his little hand on my breast, fingers splayed out, and look up at me and I can feel him loving me. Nothing else even comes close to that surge of absolute happiness, it's the most special feeling in the world.
