How the name "Anabel Elise" sounds to you? Our last name is short so we think a more syllable first name will do better. Elise- we like it to be pronounced as E-lease, not as “a lease”:winkwink:

OH is kind of worried if the name Anabel is too girly, like it would still sounds like a little cutie when she’s older. Also, I prefer to call her "Belle" while OH prefers "Anna"....:growlmad:

I'd really like to hear some ideas from you. Thanks a bunch!:hugs:

P.S.: So excited to find here!! You girls are great!:happydance:

great name!! :) love it! I do think it would be cute calling her Belle :)

i like it i like anabel spelled annabelle too lovely girly name

I love Anabel, it's a name that's definitely on my favorites list! I think it's a classic name, not too cutesy at all, my doctor is called Annabel... It's timeless and gorgeous!

anabel however spelt is lovely name, & yep she will get belle or anna shortened.I know an " annabelle " & she gets "belle" now, People should be pronouncing it Elise if its spelt with an E , If they say it with an A then that's their stupidity.
I think anabel elise is a bit of a tongue tazzler, as both vowels you have to get your tongue round properly . knowing me i'd join the too & making " annalise or annelise "

It is a really pretty name, it is deffo both child and adult :)

I love it. And you can call her Belle while he calls her Anna, my parents each have their own name for me :)

I also like Annabelle but it's too long, thinking about when she fills in the scantron during exams....:haha:

Anabel is perhaps more sophisticated to me.:)

As you can probably tell from our last name, we are Asian and we'll give her other nicknames rather than English....don't want to confuse her by too many names...
But that's a wonderful suggestion. She can decide which one she likes when she's older. Giving her the option is good!

I guess we won't call her middle name that often, right? Annalise is a good name but I still prefer Annabel/Anabel....:)
Hmmm...maybe I should save Elise for the future, it's already so hard to name our first one! haha she's kicking. She must know I'm talking about her!!:happydance:

i like Anabel, will be misspelt often tho, don't underestimate how irritating that can be for a person. However you've got a nice simple surname at least.
