This was my least favourite of the handful of names we are considering until now. I feel like it's growing on me!

It's kind of weird and unique, though easy enough to pronounce and spell I think... Right?

Worries I have:
1) In French, "jade" pronounced jad is a girl's name...
2) It has all the same letters as my son's name (Adam)
3) Sounds like my husband's name too! (Ahmed, though he likes that about it).
4) Kind of sounds like an airline name, or American-Jad....... abbreviation lol

What are your thoughts?

Thanks!!

I'm not a fan (sorry!), it sounds a bit stilted whereas your DS1 and DD's names have a different, more flowing feel to them (to me anyway). I think the similarity to Adam would put me off too but they are more similar written down, I think when you say Adam and Amhad they don't sound too similar; Amjad and Ahmed sound much more similar but as your DH likes that then that's a bonus :)

Thanks for your comments :) I have to accept that my third will have a name that doesn't fit with his siblings in style. I think I picked the most perfect multicultural (Arab, English, French) names and there just aren't any left! (for a boy at least)

The most "normal sounding" ones on our list are:
Ali, Ziad, Ismail

I don't love any of them. If I was naming this baby all by myslf, his name would be Jack.
