Oliver James.......................the only probably is every female I have said the name too loves it, every male hates it............dont know why??

Still trying to get hubby around to liking it

My DS is Jaxon Dylan............I think Jaxon and Oliver sounds good together

I like the James part, but I'm not a fan of oliver.

I think it is what you like and when the baby is born you will see what you feel he looks like , be it an Oliver or James 😄😄 best of luck x

I really like the name Oliver James, its great.

Other nice [similar] options:

Oscar James
or
Owen James

I find it a bit plain. Oliver is super popular now, and I don't like James just because I class it as a kind of non-name...you know, like a name you hear somewhere in one in every 5 boy's names.

I'd also worry he'd get "OJ". That would annoy me.

I like it. My Boyfriend wanted to call our daughter if she was a boy Oliver!

i love the name oliver but my boyfriend hates it and he doesnt have a good explanation at all for why he does. he told me he just simply does. if it wasnt for that, id definitely name our baby oliver if they're a boy.

It's kind of a so-so name for me (sorry!), I think just becuase Oliver is a very popular name where I am and James is a common middle name so it feels a bit plain.

It's lovely. Wouldn't use it here as Oliver is the top boy's name and James is the most popular middle name but they're popular for a reason as they're classic and beautiful names.

I like it, but my OH had the male reaction. Wrinkled nose and looked like I had just said "Penis Burger".

There is a hairdressers near me called Oliver James, so it made me think of that! But it's a fine name. My son has a lot of friends called Oliver though and they all get shortened to Olly/Ollie so bear that in mind. It's very popular where I live too which would put me of a bit - the kids in my son's class are all talked about as Olly B or Ollie H etc

I like the name Oliver. But I also think that a pp's suggestion of Owen James is nice and goes better with your other son's name.
