... the name Nalu for a boy? Its Hawaiian and means 'wave' (as in a wave in the ocean...) My dh is a mega windsurf nut - but we don't hv any Hawaiian connection otherwise. I kinda like it but I'm not sure... Plus the fact that we live in Switzerland...

I am not sure why -as I suppose it should not be important but I would like it better, if you lived in Hawaii, NZ, Aus or a beachy place....
I would probably use it as a middle name.

It's kinda cool -- but as far as a Hawaiian type surfing name i would go with Kai or Kialer (Kai for short) means "ocean"... And it's a cool name!

I like the sound of Nalu though, too!
