OK so I have just got £200 for the kids for Christmas through the post from my Dad...... I was looking online for more toys to buy them and was struggling really, with Rosie not even 2 yet and Jack has not asked for much really ..... so I was looking at wooden play houses for the garden and I decided to buy them one :blush:

Do you think thats a good idea? cos they dont have loads of things to open Xmas morning so was undecided between the house or more toys to open iykwim? but I know they will get so much pleasure out of the play house in the summer & its something they can share ......

to put it up Xmas eve or wait until the summer??

defo and I'd leave it for the summer, will be a lovely surprise for them. they get so much at christmas(even though u say they aint, im sure its way more than 1 toy) they wont miss it :hugs:

Thanks Blah :) I feel guilty for some reason! I know they will love it though x

As long as they have presents on christmas day it doesnt matter how much they have hun :D

I think it's a fab idea to save it for the summer I wish I could save stuff but I get so excited I have to give things to the kids lol

I think that's a great gift that they will enjoy for a long time :)

Thats a great idea paula. we've got a little wooden playhouse, we got it for nicoles 2nd birthday and all the kids love it. x

Yeah that would be nice hun!
Chloe and Jaycee only have 5-6 presents from us because I have a huge family and I dont have the room to store it so instead of going mad I wanted to leave some for their birthday too.
Thats a nice idea. I definitely would get one.

Great idea hun, i'm sure they will love a surprise in the summer :)

I have always wanted to get the kids a play house but I don't have the garden for it :( xx

I bet they'll love it in the summer as a fab surprise for them. I wouldn't give it to them at Christmas because they'll just get disappointed they can't play in it in the rotten weather.

Plus, you could get it cheaper in January sales!

Thanks everyone :) I got it in the end :D its lovely...gonna make some little curtains for it and get a little rug and put their kitchen in there and a table and chairs they already have :happydance: I am going to save it for the spring time, cant wait they are going to love it, will be a nice suprise for them both xxx

did not think of the Jan sales thing though :dohh:
