I had a scare 2 days ago on my birthday. I had a bleed and It started out pink mixed with discharge, and then abit later ended up brownish orange and then right away after that it turned into a brown discharge. This bleed was only a few hours. Not long at all. It started when I went to bed but I figure I was laying down so the blood could not clear out. Then durring the morning it made it's way out. This is why i think it wasnt long at all becuase I was laying down. I wonder how long it would have been if I stayed up and allowed my body to let it out. I haven't had any cramps. I have morning sickness that has gotten worse and extremely sore boobs. More so then a few days ago. Are my chances good? Has anyone been in the same boat and ended up with a healthy baby? or :'( I only bled a few hours and i still feel symptoms. My appointment is september 2nd and my doctor thinks everything might be ok since I did not pass clots no red blood and still have symptoms of m/s.

I'm not too sure hun. If you have any concerns about what has happened, call your doctor's office and make an appt before Sept. It will put your mind at ease. Lots of women do have spotting and bleeding during their pregnancies and go on to have wonderful, healthy and happy babies. Take care hun

Hi, yes, lots of women who have bleeds during pregnancy go on to have healthy babies -many on the forums could share their stories!! It sounds like a good sign that your m/s and other symptoms are still going strong - although it seems odd to appreciate sickness! Saying that, only someone medical can really set your mind at ease, so perhaps you could see someone before the 2nd?

My doctor is away till the 2nd. I called while the bleeding was happening and that was the only appointment they had for me. i really did not want to spend my birthday bleeding and in the er for 9 hours .. Now I regret it that I did not go. Oh well I guess I will wait. Still no blood at all and the symptoms are still there. They have gotten stronger. people are saying that it's a good sign if your bleeding has stopped if it were a few hours?
