Hi ladies, currently dd who is 9 weeks old sleeps in a swinging crib although I don't have it swinging as have a sensor mat
Just looking for ideas as she does not seem to settle in it some nights and sometimes gets close to one side and her arm sticks through the gap which wakes her up if shes too close to the side

Was thinking about a travel cot but with a bassinet on top and a decent mattress, also have to think about how it will work with the lead from the sensor mat

Just picking your brains please!

Mine have always been in a Moses basket until they can roll, then into a cot.

My little girl has a Moses basket downstairs and a crib upstairs! The first few days she seemed less settled in the crib but she's getting used to it now so intend to use it till 5/6 months before moving her in to a big cot

My 5 month old has slept in carrycot (for pram) since he was born. We put it inside the travel cot to keep him away from our 2 year old. We have a angelcare sensor monitor so just have the pad under the mattress in the carrycot and sit it inside the travel cot xx

Mine sleeps in a basinette (which I think is the same thing as a Moses basket) at night, and in a pack n play during the day.

Mine slept in a Moses basket for the first few weeks and then moved them to a travel cot but with a proper mattress as they both liked to sleep like a star fish.

Mine had a cot from day one but he far rather slept in my bed! Sorry no help. 😃

Mine slept in a crib from the day we got home. Then at about 4 months switched to a cot... Has always been a good sleeper apart from when teething/ill

Moses basket for two months, now in a pack 'n' play until I move her to her crib in three months

Thank you ladies :) I think I'll try a travel cot soon with a decent mattress so she's got more room, either way can't see her in the crib for much longer!

Both of mine slept in my bed from day one for night time sleep. We have an infant to toddler rocker that my daughter has napped in since she was a tiny baby and still naps in. My son on the other hand, won't nap in his. He naps in the carrier. On weekends, he'll sometimes nap in bed with me.

Our boys were in Rock n Plays until 3 months and loved them!

Thanks ladies :)

I got a graco contour electric which has a bassinet and can be used as a play pen
Was very close to getting a chicco next to me but didn't want to spend £150 for something she won't be in for long then when I got home my sister had tagged me in a post of a chicco next to me for sale so picking that up today for £70!
So glad I didn't buy one in mothercare as this one only used 3 months and in excellent condition and at least I can use it for any future babies if I'm really lucky ;)

Cot at night, was in a Moses basket until he outgrew it at 5 weeks. I've literally just bought a travel cot for downstairs as he's started rolling so i can't just leave him napping on The sofa anymore

I have got the Chicco next to me and at first my daughter didn't like sleeping in it but I think that was mainly down to the fact she loves being cuddled when asleep so she slept in my bed but at around 9 weeks me and my partner decided we needed our bed back so after a few sleepless nights she now sleeps in it for around 6-10 hours depending what kind of night she's having, it's an amazing bed to have as I can co- sleep without her being in bed with me plus it's very roomey and my daughter is a fidget lol
