What does an obgyn use their stethoscope for?

I haven't been to my obgyn yet for a prenatal checkup, but when I was there for a well checkup I noticed he has a stethoscope and found it interesting, because I didn't think OBGYNs have stethoscopes. The nurse was the one that took my blood pressure so that's not the reason. Has anyone been to their obgyn and a stethoscope was used?

I guess they might need to listen to your lungs and heart as being pregnant can but strain on systems that usually function OK, so if you had symptoms of a murmur or an embolism or something maybe? Im in UK where you rare under midwife care so I don't really know how OBGYN's work...
