Caitlin will be 3 at Christmas I am getting her a pram and I'd like to get her a doll pref one that can be changed into different clothes but it doesn't have to pee on a potty etc lol something she can also take to bed so not all hard plastic?

Annabel & baby born dolls, what are they like? Others?

Amelie got a my little baby born last year. They have soft bodies but the regular baby borns have hard bodies.

Going to be one of the smaller ones isn't it?

We have a Baby Alive from the toy reviewing we are doing its all hard body, what I find annoying is it doesn't straighten out (always has its feet up) ...maybe I'm being too fussy lol

Were undecided between Baby Annabelle [has money off in Toys r Us at the moment] and My little sunshine [currently half price in tesco] - Chloe has my first baby annabelle and loves it that has a soft body but not sure if the next size up has soft body or not.

There's so meny to choose from isn't there shannon will be 22 months at Christmas but is quite grown up so we have her a pram but have no clue what doll to get her like you I'd also like a soft bodied one but they all seem to be rather small x

Daisy has a little baby born and little baby annabell! They are both soft bodied and really cute, you can but spare clothes for them but Daisy prefers hers to be naked all the time!

Chloe and Jaycee got a my first baby annabell for their birthday in January and they love it. I have asked OH mum and dad to buy them a proper Baby Annabell for Christmas this year. Baby Born and Baby annabell are expensive hun but I know Baby born has a wide range of stuff to go with the dolly I am not too sure about Baby annabell cos I havent looked

My little girl has got baby annabell the accessory kit we got with her made the 35 price tag worth it she is soft bodied and there are a lot of accessories the clothes are expensive so I usually go to tesco and buy baby clothes in the sale I also got a pack of tesco nappies a's my little girl is constantly changing her bum lol but we got the car seat and crib and they are really good quality x

I have bought Rosie baby rock - a - bye chou chou, its a big dolly with hard arms & legs & head but soft bodied & looks cute lol it has a dummy & a bottle, and laughs/cries/gurgles/ you can rock her to sleep not sure if the clothes can be changed though, its on offer in toys r us ATM £20 down from £40! :D

Oh and I got her a dolls accessory bag from there too £10 x

Maybe a Cabbage Patch doll if they have them there? They are soft, come with all different hair/eye colours etc.

I got Katie this Bay Alive doll for Christmas - it actually does pee in the potty but that's not why I got it. It really opens it's mouth to talk and Katie loved it when she saw it in the shop. you get outfits reduced on Amazon. (the doll is reduced to £29.99 on toys r us but the link doesn't work for some reason)

ive heard this doll is also really good, never seen one in 'action' though lol x

I have to stick up for Baby born here..i got one when they first came out (i was 8)..i still have her (Tammy) 19 years later lol..shes in prefect condition still and will be given to my daughter (when/if I have one)..they are fab!

We bought Brogan Baby Annabell last year, she was 18 months and already had the my first baby annabell, I bought her because she was soft bodied and didn't need a nappy changing lol. Brogan loved her until she heard it call for daddy, no one come between Brogan and HER daddy, not even her brother never mind a doll! lol.

My girls had various baby dolls over the years (they're 13 and 11 now) and it was definatly baby annabell that lasted the longest for both of them. I'd happily buy another in a few years for this baby although I think the doll has a few more features now! She doesn't seem to have gone up much in price either, well worth it imo.

I am another baby born fan here!
I had the same one from when I was 4, I got her on my first day of school…her names Emma….I will too give her to my daughter (when and if) they are brilliant…it was the whole giving her a bottle and she weed in a real nappy for me, but they are hard bodied…I used to put mine in a cot next to me rather than have her in my bed, or she would stab me in the ribs!
Over birthdays and as I got older, I got the baby born high chair, baby born pram, I loved it until I was about 13  as I got older, my sister got one and we used to make up a nesquick and water solution, to make it pink/chocolate etc…I would advise you not to do that! Lol…you have to flush the baby through as her insides get clogged up :haha:

But defiantly baby born! My sister had an anabelle, who just cried – and we had chou chous, although they have soft bodies they don’t do anything – was very boring!

x
