Feeling pleased I have made it to 10 weeks this time as 7 previous m/c were prior to this.
This time I have taken aspirin, stopped taking energy drinks, caffeine tea, coke. (Haven't managed to stop chocolate lol!)
Just thought I would mention this in case it will help someone.

Congratulations!
And good job on cutting energy drinks and cafeine from your diet. I think chocolate is ok :-)
Here in Canada, Aspirin has been linked with Down Syndrome. The only pain relievers recommended here are Tylenol (250mg max and just one pill every 4 hours if absolutely needed).

Doctors actually advise to take baby aspirin to help with miscarriages in the US. With my previous pregnancy my doctor told me no caffeine and that included chocolate b/c believe it not it has caffeine in it! It was brutal, no chocolate! lol

I was told not to take asprin to keep my b/p low during pregnancy, but if it helps . Do you have high blood pressure? Maybe thats why asprin helped?

I don't think the aspirin is for pain relief. It's often prescribed to women with blood clotting issues, high blood pressure, gestational diabetes, previous recurrent unexplained miscarriages and poor placental blood flow to help the pregnancy progress.

I too have been taking a 75mg dosage of asprin once a day and so far so good. After two miscarriages my doctor told me to start taking it when I got pregnant straight away ... here we are at 12+5 with a very wriggly subborn little bean who wouldnt keep still for pictures today hehe.

Also as a previous smoker I gradually cut down rather than quitting straight away. The last two times I quit as soon as I found out and miscarried not long after. Now it may be phsycological that I linked it with that but doing it this way has helped me in the long run.
