What is after Clomid?

Hi everyone,
Me and my partner have been ttc for approx 5 years now, last year i started Clomid which has got my monthly cycles back to normal, I am currently on CD10 of month 12 of Clomid and back to see GP in about 2 weeks. Just wondering if anyone knows what is next? Clomid has worked in the sence i now have my monthly cycle but im still ttc.

Hi sweetie,
Without knowing what the medical situation is with you guys, possibly IVF?
Have you got a good fertility doc? Most would be reluctant to keep you on clomid for that long, I think it's probably time for you guys to have a look at something else. I assume your partner has been tested too?

Doc told me that after 6 months of clomid, hubby is going to have to get a semen analysis, after that, it's an HSG, and after that I'll be moving to injectibles. I know the UK sometimes has a different approach, so if you're from there, I'm not sure.

Like others have said, you should make sure your partner's SA checks out and have and HSG yourself. You may be good candidates for IUI, possibly along with clomid. That's what my doctor suggested if a few cycles of clomid alone are not successful.
