In your make up bag?!

Iv never ever been very good at make up alli usually manage is eyeliner and mascara!

I want to start wearing more but really dont know where to start!!

Any help?! X

Some days i cant be bothered and only put on mascara but when i do my face properly i use:

Maybelline One by One Volum' Express Mascara
Collection 2000 Intense Colour Eyeliner Pencil (bottom liner)
Collection 2000 Fast Stroke Eyeliner (liquid liner for top)

I also have an eyebrow pencil id never go without, can't remember what it is though

I love make up some of my favorites are flawless foundation in nude from avon and any type of eylure eyelashes. Until I bought the foundation I never found one I loved, everything was too dark, too light, make my face greasy or just didn't stay on. I bought everything from drug store products to mac and nothing was right! Flawless is perfect! The colour nude is perfect for my skin tone and it covers everything as well as lasting all day.

good thread! i know this sounds like I'm boasting but as a teenager i never had any spots and had lovely skin so i never got used to putting foundation, or much make up on at all really. I'm useless at it but now my skins not looking so good I could use some but i just end up looking like a clown......

A Maybelline foundation, but I can't remember which one!
Boots Natural Collection powder in neutral
Avon eyeshadow and eye liner
Bourjois blush in "Sienna"
Avon mascara but I'd have to check which one - I love it though.

Might have a look for that foundation - I still haven't found the perfect one! I have had another Avon one in nude and it was the perfect colour but I can't remember what I didn't like about it I guess I could safely go for that colour again in a different one. I have an Avon book just now so will have a look.

Arbonne Natural Radiance Mineral Powder (& a brush for it)
MAC eyeshadow in Carbon (& a brush for that)
Annabelle pencil eyeliner in black,

& usually Revlon eyeshadow quads, I go with greys & blacks or browns/tans. I reallyyy want to buy the Naked 2 palette but I'm cheap! I honestly do not believe that pricier make-up = better (based off a few previous purchases), the exception being my Arbonne powder which is fantastic

I also usually have a tube of Burt's Bees lip balm kicking around, a liquid eyeliner of some kind (Gosh is one of my favourites) and a concealer stick to use 'as needed'.

Most days i just put a little bit of foundation on and mascara always (i look I'll without it)

If im going out il put on blusher. Can't stand the look of tan/bronzer., im one of those proud to be pale ppl lol. I go through fazes of liking/not liking eye liner. But its the only thing that makes me lool different for a night out so i usually wear it. Id love to wear fslse lashes on a night out but i just cannot stand the feeling, they irritate me so much!! Lol xx

Natural Collection loose powder - just use a cheap one as I've not found the expensive ones any better.
Max Factor eyebrow pencil - essential as I have barely there eyebrows. People don't believe me as this pencil looks so natural.
Max Factor 2000 calorie mascara - been using it years and it's the best I've tried.
Max Factor masterpiece eyeshadow - it goes on as a cream and dries to a powder. Doesn't budge or crease all day long.
Gosh cosmetics eyeliner pencil - only available from Superdrug. Easy to smudge into a softer line, but once that's done it doesn't budge all day.
Rimmel match perfect powder compact - I use any powder to touch up throughout the day, I just happen to have this one at the minute.
Bourjois blusher - my absolute fave is Nars 'orgasm' blush, but it's really expensive so when I ran out I got this instead.

I don't wear lipstick/gloss unless I'm going out. I have big lips and I look like I'm pouting constantly if they're made up The most important thing to me when choosing make up is staying power, I've tried all sorts over the years and these are the things I've found best.
