So this is my first cycle charting really well. I caught the flu and had a fever for a few days so those temps are not counted. It looks like I Od on the 17th of December right after my flu with a temp dip and then rise. But I am confused. After four days of higher temps they have suddenly dropped back to preovulatory temps. What is going on? I had some spotting after ovulation but that is normal for me. Why would my temp do this? I wanted a baby so badly this cycle:(

I get a dip between 4-6dpo. I tested with my digital opks once and got flashing which, to me, confirmed the theory that you get a secondary estrogen surge after O that causes a dip. It will most likely go back up tomorrow :). Temps can fluctuate during your lp. It's way too early for that dip to mean af.

When was the bleeding?

The spotting started the day after I Od. It is pretty normal for me n seems to happen every cycle. Thanks for making me feeling better though! I hope they go back up.

I know it's easier said than done to tell you to relax, but I doubt it is anything meaningful. Try googling fallback rise fertility friend. It's a pattern of post O temps that may be what you are seeing this cycle. FXed!

Just thought I would update you and tell you you where right! My temps are climbing back up, not quite as high but above the coverline. Thanks for the advice. It kept me from freaking out.
