What is she doing? Any ideas?

I've had trouble the last couple of days feeding Chloe. She will take her bottle for a couple of ounces then stop. She was fine with hre night fedds but has been poor again today. She started screaming for food at 4:30 (usual time) so gave her bottle, she had an ounce and dozed off, woke up had another and went back to sleep. She usually wolfed down 6 or 7 oz by now.

Can any one shed any light on what the problem might be?

oh yeah, when she does take it she is making a really hard sucking and clicking noise, she's never done that before

yeah it may be that you need the teats the stage up from what your using.

i had to put joshua up to the stage 2 teats when he was 1 week old.it was taking him about an hour to finish a 3oz bottle.
he kept dozzing off then waking up for abit more.

try going up a stage hun.
the stage 2 teats im using says for 1month+ but midwife said its ok as long as he isnt gaging on it.

I did think this. I have made up a bottle with a medeium flow teat to see how she gets on, I tried this a few weeks ago and it was too fast for her, but worth a go again now.

She had a feed with a medium flow teat this morning and choked a couple pf times, got more down herself than in her mouth and has screamed since the feed. What do I do now!!!!!

keep trying the new teat. They do take a little getting used to, about a day or so.

yeah keep trying, it takes a while for them 2 get used 2 it, i remember my little boy being the same for few days on a new size teat x
