What is the oldest piece of clothing you own?

Made me think today - the house was cold so I went to grab a jumper. Put it on and thought 'bloody hell, I've had this a few years.' It was an old school jumper! I'm 32 in a few weeks

Even worse than that is I still have some pyjamas that my auntie bought me for my 14th birthday. They are completely faded but they still fit and I love them

So c'mon, be honest - do you own something so old it could now be described as 'vintage'?

I've got a ball gown from when I was at uni, so thats a good few years old now. Cant bear to part with it even though I know I won't be going to any balls, lol. xxx

I dont have anything over kind of 5 years (mainly riding wear which seems to last centuries!) - but my dad has a school jumper my granny knitted him when he went aged 6, hes still WEARING it now at 57. yes, she knitted it very large for a 6 year old, but just goes to show knitting stands the test of time lol.

I have a band hoodie which i got for xmas in 5th year at school when i was 16. I'm 32 now. Ive had that hoodie half of my whole life. Thats scary stuff. I wore it everywhere. I only wear it round the house now its a bit tatty round the sleeves.

I got rid of a lot of stuff when I was pregnant and nesting lol- haven't got any of my high school clothes as we wore uniforms and I passed them down to my sister after I was done with them. I do have my prom dress, but it's only 6 years old.

i have got my school tie that i had when i was 14 and a dressing gown that i sometimes still wear from when i was 17!! Glas im not the only one that keeps stuff for years.
