What is this and would a bump band help?

Walking is painful... After 5 or 10 minutes, I get a feeling in my lower bump like everything is being dragged down and crampy. It's different from round ligament pain and SPD pain... it's literally inside, in the bottom quarter of my bump. As I neared home, I found myself using my arm to "prop it up" and it seemed to help.

So... as the title says! Anyone know what's causing this (just the weight of my bump?) and if something like a bump band would help?

I'm usually wearing my over-the-bump maternity leggings and can't recall this pain before - today, I'm wearing under-the-bump maternity jeans.. hmm!

Looking at something like this... https://www.jojomamanbebe.co.uk/sp+bump-support-bands-in-maternity-products-and-underwear+B4732

Maybe you have pgp (pelvic girdle pain)

I had this with dd2 and after seeing the physiotherapist, I got a bunp support belt. It wasn't quite like the one your looking at, but it sort of wrapped around and velcroed together. It did help me ease pains I had, but for me the pains were more in the hips.

I'd speak to your midwife and get on the waiting list for a physio as the waits usually long.
Hope the pain goes

Mine was like this https://www.stressnomore.co.uk/mate...t-82186.html?gclid=CNC7_5-rsL4CFbShtAodPxkA-Q

I'm already waiting for physio for the SPD :dohh: This pain isn't a bone pain though - like, it's in my bump, not the bones.. I don't know how to describe it adequately :(

It's the ligaments that stretch that cause the pain-it feels like it's my hip bones, but in reality it's the surrounding ligaments holding everything together. I guess it's ligaments with you too.
Hope your wait isn't too long to see someone. It's worth giving the bunp belt a shot in the meantime

Have you been doing any core exercises? If not I would look up some on youtube. Keeping your internal "corset" strong will help support everything that is going on inside.
