What is with people?!

I had two early losses in 2013, one at 5 weeks and a MMC at 8 weeks.

Then I was lucky enough to have my beautiful DD who is my world.

I recently found out I was pregnant again but got some bad news yesterday. At 6w3d my scan showed 2 yolks but no further development. Today I am waiting for the results of my betas. If they are going up we will do another scan early next week. If they are going down, well, we all know what happens from there.

The only people who know I am pregnant are my boss, my parents, my husband and two friends.

What is everyone's response when I update them (everyone other than my husband of course)? "Oh, that's too bad but you've been here before". Or "well, it's not your first rodeo."

WTF??? Do they think it isn't just as scary or that it doesn't hurt just as much? They act like it's nothing b/c it may be a third loss. How do they not understand that it only gets harder with each loss?

I just don't understand people.

OMG! I would have slapped every last one of them and tore them a new one!! If you were my friend and had told me that I would have bought a giant tub of ice cream, come over in pajamas and ate the whole damn thing (since a bottle of wine is out of the question) *hugz*

ugh, I'm sorry to read this, I just had my second mc and while people were supportive, they weren't as supportive, if that makes sense? Like I wonder if people start to think that it becomes the norm and you somehow just keep going through life like nothing happened, because you are used to it or something, instead it just hurts, it hurts like hell, and with each one you feel your hopes of having a baby sliding further and further away. I'm sorry people are douches, Angels right, BnB has been my lifeline through these tragedies

Aw I'm sorry they are being like that that's awful. I dont think people understand really unless theyve been through it themselves. I'm sick of hearing "oh well at least you have one already". Yes I know I have one and I'm so so grateful for that.. I know I'm lucky. But it doesn't make the hurt of losing a pregnancy any less xxx
