I love old names that have been forgotten about so I'm looking for some new ideas :)

My grandfathers/great grand fathers that I know of are John Joseph, Ken, and Charles. Too common I think.

What are your grandfathers / great grand father / great uncle's names?

Reginald, Peter, Colin, Brian and David.

Reginald, Peter, Colin, Brian and David.

Thank you very much!! I like Peter, I know my mom loves that name, but my first son's name is Iver so I'm not sure if a name with the same 'er' ending will sound funny.

John and James. Pretty sure their dad's (my great grandfathers) may have also been John and James, as I know my dad (also James) is the III, and my uncle (John's son) is also John.

DH - David and Jim (James?)

Thought Id throw in my Uncles names too if its any help

Frank
John
Peter
Richard
David

Ronald, Alec (alexander)

Other older family members - kenny (Kenneth) Jim (James)

Larry, Clarence, Henry, Orville, Dale, Paul, Jack, Marvin, James, Merritt, Alwin, Dorian, Richard, Claude

My maternal Grandfather was Elwynne (DS2's middle name). Not sure of his father's name but my grandmother's father was David. My father's father was Melville and his father was William.

My grandfathers were Malcolm and Arthur. OH's grandfather was Sidney.
We have used Sidney as ds2's middle name. I love old names.

Grandfathers: John and Vernon
Great-grandfathers: Wesley, Walter, Wellington, Wilfred (apparently this was a popular generation for W names)
Great-great-grandfathers: Archibald, James, Andrew, Charles
