Hi all :)

My LG has started to roll onto her side at night which I'm not too worried about, however she sleeps in a chicco next to me bed, with the side up not attached to my bed, and her face keeps going right against the edge
Last night the sensor pad went off and she was in this position, face right against the side, I nearly had a heart attack!

Just looking for some advice, I'm so scared, even with the sensor mat, that things dangerous

Thank you in advance!

Just to add, I don't think she stopped breathing when the alarm went off as I quickly rolled her to her back and she was fine so probably rolled off mat, but still so worrying xx

My wee one is four months but has been like that for a while. We have a normal swinging crib and she ends up right in a corner sometimes, and always on her aide despite us putting her down on her back. Luckily our sensor oad hasn't gone off, maybe move it up the crib a bit for reassurance. As for as I can remember the sides of the Chicco crib are breathable? Still scary!

Thank you for reply :)

One side is breathable, luckily the only side she rolls, though there's a couple inches going up before its then breathable
We were using a swinging crib but she wouldn't settle
In it as kept hitting the bars and sticking her arm out
Might have to try it again

She keeps sticking her arms through the bars too, she uses them to pull herself into the top corner of it, haha. I think we will need to move her into her cot soon if I'm honest but I just like her being with me.

You can buy breathable bumpers that fit along the inside if cribs (so the bars are covered, or you can weave them in and out of the bars), It wouldn't work for a swinging crib though but my crib is free standing and it's great! You get attachments for it to fit onto a full size cot when they are ready to go into that. Star25 have you thought about buying a crib before you, move your little one into a cot? They are just a mini version of a cot but it can sit beside your bed and gives your little me more room. I got mines from Kiddiecare for £40, expensive but worth it for peace of mind and can be used again for future babies!!x
