What size teat for my 6 week old?

We've been using tommee tippee bottles with a slow flow teat but over the last few days have noticed he can be totally ravenous but it can take him like 40 mins for a bottle and falls asleep halfway through and then is ravenous for his next!. Do you think it would be worth trying a medium flow?

i got the variflow teats 0+ i found these help so much cause my LO was doing the same thing now he takes the bottle within 10 mins lol (greedy child) plus i found him so much easier to wind

I agree with the above. i tried ds on the variflow at 5weeks and it was too fast and he didnt know how to control the flow so we kept on using the slow flow. he is 9weeks now and we retried the variflow teats again and hes getting on much better, better to wind and drink the bottle in half the time. i would give it a go.

I had to change to the size 2 avent ones at 5 weeks for the same problem!

Give the size 2 a go, you will soon know if they are too fast.

I put my LO onto size 2 at 6 weeks, the first bottle was quite fast for him until he got used to the bigger teat, but all was fine. He's now 12 weeks and Im thinking I need to try the size 3 teat shortly xx
