what stage milk do u use for ur 6mnth+ LO's? x

what stage milk do you have ur kiddies on at 6 months an over?

also logan is on stage 3 atm as hv advised it as it has added nutrients which would give him what he needed as he doesnt drink much milk and would help keep his weight gain up in the process but ive found he does less frequent dirty nappies on this milk and really struggles to go when he does, takes him nerly all day to go then its days before he manages to again, bless him.
surly this isnt healthy for him. im pretty sure the stage one milk has more fattening ingredients in it which will help weight gain better and he should be getting all the nutrients from his solids so would u think it would be ok to move him bak to stage one to help with his bowel movements ??

maddi is currently on hungry baby formula and has been since 3 weeks old, the follow on milks have more iron normally, as by 6months babies have lost their iron stores from birth, the iron could be constipating him. i have kept maddi on this milk as she eats a well balanced diet. it might be worth uping LO's fruit and veg intake, prune juice is great for constipation.

i wouldnt no about changing back milks, if you feel he'd be better on the stage one then i would change x

it's funny because our HV said there was no nutritional need to change the formula. I think you should just go back to what he's happy with.

There's different stages??? We just buy what WIC gives us and it hasn't changed yet and is not changing in the next 3 months either.
