Just curious as to what support is available for single Mums, both from their ex partner and the government if the Mum isn't working, and the ex has a large salary.
 
hi there. i believe you could get child text credit which is 55/60 a week, child benefit which is 20 and income support which is 60. my ex doesnt pay anything yet so im not sure about that xx
 
partner has to pay 20-25% of their pay plus all of above, my friend just seperated from her hubby

I thought It was only 15% for the first child, and 15% split between any other children yous have together? I know thats what my dad had to pay for me up until I turned 18, so must have changed x

I get child benefit and tax credits.. ex isn't part of our life so he doesn't pay.
