I am starting tomorrow on my first dose of 200 mg of Clomid. I was just wondering if the time of day I took it mattered?

Hi! It doesn't matter as far as it working, but my doctor has me take it at night that way you sleep through the side effects! :) 200 is a lot, have you taken it before? I only take 50mg... Good luck!

Yes I have taken it before about three years ago, I tried 100mg and 150 mg but didn't ovulate on either. We took a break for a few years and decided to try again this time seing an RE instead of an obgyn. He wanted to try me on a higher dose to see if we can see anything happen. Thanks for your reply!

I agree...take it at night if u can stand the hot flashes then. It sometimes made me crampy and nauseous and i was usually able to sleep through it......

I agree with taking it at night.

The one cycle I took it during the day, I felt like crap!

I took mine during the day. I couldn't sleep through the hot flashes when I took it at night. When I swapped it up, yeah it sucked but it was easier for me to deal with the side effects during the day and still not lose any sleep.

I would run my air conditioner in the winter time and freeze my husband out of the bed because my hot flashes were so bad. Our winter this past year was one of the mildest on record so it sounds crazier than it really was.

thanks ladies! I decided to take them at night so that I could deal with the side effects at night if I have any. I work 10 hour days and I am constantly moving around so I thought that dealing with hot flashes when I am already sweating would make it unbearable. Thank you all for your posts! I am keeping my fingers crossed that this works. 6 years, wow when I was younger, I never thought I would be trying for a baby for 6 year, my first I mind you! Baby dust to you all!!
