Now with the weather getting cooler and the bedroom being less warm I'm concerned that she'll be warm enough - the other night she'd completely kicked her covers off and had freezing cold hands. I tried putting her in sleeping bags but she hates them with a vengeance. she also hates swaddling - basically anything that restricts her. I tried tucking in the blanket at the side of the mattress so she can't wriggle away from under them, but no joy :nope:

My LO hates his legs covered or confined, so I just swaddle his upper half with a blanket and put long socks on the boy and let him be. If (on one of our many pacifier runs) his legs seem a bit cold I will put a blanket over them once he is asleep.

what about one of these?

if you get a bigger size you can put it over her normal vest and sleepsuit instead of a sleeping bag?

thanks hun - trouble is she doesn't like her arms swaddled. I guess I'll just have to put more layers on her??

 - that's a great idea - I'll have a look for one of those. x

i have same prob hun my lo wont have no covers wat so ever have to have window open bcos its still 24-25 in the bedroom so put vest all in one and a light shawl but she kicks it off woke up with cold this morning might have to go buy one of the fleece all in ones from primark wednesday

I was going to say maybe a thicker sleepsuit or something fleecey :)xx

Welcome to my world hun! Hehe. I dress Molly in an all in one with socks and a long sleeve vest. I literally ram the covers down the side of the cot sides and tuck them underneath to stop them from pulling out. She used to fight it but I think she's given in now. Layers are the way forwards though and Molly's hands are always cold but it doesn't seem to bother her.

Oh and we tried mits on her..they came off within seconds :dohh: xxx

How old is she?

My LO 'hated' sleeping bags until at 3m old but just persevere. If she knows she's not got much choice in the matter then she's likely to warm to them. Now at 7m my LO wears hers every night & knows it's sleep time when the bag is on

My LO won't keep blankets on and hates been confined in a sleeping bag so I got a sleep snuggler, which is basically a 2.5tog sleeping bag with legs and arms, it's been a life saver.
There abit pricey but deffo worth it.
