what to do with casserole beef? pls asap.

went to make a country stew, looked in the onion press and realised there was lotsa little flies in my cupboard as i had an oldish pack of onions in there. eww! so i basically threw out most of the stuff on that shelf and long story short i have no onions so cant make the stew. but have beef that is going out of date tomorrow so need to use it. its casserole beef pieces so prob needs a fair bit of cooking to tenderise it. any ideas??? OH will be home in an hour and no dinner!
 
could you still make a stew but use potato or something instead.
 
chuck in a can of soup (i use veg or oxtail), a can of chopped tomatoe and some carrots, and peas.

Easy peasy meal :)
 
I did a veggie beef casserole...
-can of tomato soup
-2 oz frozen (canned or fresh will work too) green beans
-can of corn
-1/2 cup of water
-Worcestershire sauce
- some pepper
-tube of biscuits
-shredded cheddar cheese

Combined all the ingredients minus biscuits and shredded cheddar..simmer until green beans are done. Pop the biscuits in the oven for 5 minutes 400 degrees, take them out set aside. Combine all ingredients in a 13 by 9 inch casserole dish..biscuits on top and finish baking for 8-10 minutes. Until biscuits are browned.

It's pretty good!
 
I take it biscuits are something different to what I'm thinking?
