What to get for LO?

So Joshua will be 5 months exactly on christmas day :happy dance: but I have no clue about what presents to get. The majority I've seen are 6mths+ or 9mths+ so I will get some of those but I want something he can use before then. Yet the only things I've seen are toys 3mths+ which he may have almost or already outgrown by then.

He doesn't need any clothes as we had to start returning stuff for 9-12 months and 12-18 he had that many!

He can hold himself up really well and can sit unaided on the couch - even in the middle of it, not tucked into the arm! - and looks like he may crawl soon because when he gets tummy time his legs from the knee up work in a crawling position and he can hold his head up and look at people/voices/tv etc., he just needs to learn to move his arms and the bottom of his legs in coordination lol!

I want to get him a little pair of converse - just because but have no clue what else to get him

I just quin his 1st converse they look like little sharks,
you can get 6 month toys
what about his 1st spoons,bowl and sippy cup? I weaned quin a little early at 5 months and started using a sippy cup soon after (he never drink much from it till now )

Buy him 6m+ toys, or things that encourage crawling/mobility.. you can get walkers that they can sit at to play, then walk with when they get bigger.

Thanks girls, yeah I was thinking about getting some things that were 6mths+ but I didn't know if he could use them before he was 6mths or not so I didn't want him to have nothing to use on christmas lol

And Rome! How cute are baby converse, I want ones for me - as a keyring they're so adorable!

last year morgan was 5months and we got her a touch and crawl winnie the pooh and a few 6month + toys because although they say 6month+ alot of them morgan was able to use at christmas
and she got a ball pit which is just a paddling pool filled with balls but argos have a cute little car shaped ball pit
