My LO is 1 on 5th December so close as well. We're getting stuff she can use now for her birthday then 18 month + toys for xmas. SOme of the things shes getting are: smart trike, megabloks, activity cube, dolls pram, wooden puzzles, happyland stuff

its hard with them being so close to xmas, chloes is november but we're doing similar to bambi, a few bits of her birthday things will be stuff she can use then, then the rest and her xmas bits will be things she can use next year.

most of the things we're getting her state an older age but tbh for us as long as there arent small parts i dont really worry too much

Our lo is 1 at the end of october. At the moment i'm planning on getting him a toy garage, a bath toy and a stocking full of little bits like crayons, musical toys etc. Other ideas for you could be activity table, megabloks, puzzles, ride on toy, first doll, pull along toy, pop up toy.
