what were your UTI symptoms?

Iv had them before but I can not remember this pain!
It started yesterday out of nowhere.
It's a constant cramp in my lower abdomen,it hurts when walking,coughing,intercourse is a very ouch! And going toilet my stomach cramps up sooo much reminds me of mild contractions.

Iv done a sample at the doctors but won't get results till tomorrow or Wednesday.
I hope it's nothing else.
Iv already had my 6month check up today for my smear test as I needed treatment after my first smear which showed CIN3

I don't remember cramping anytime I have had a UTI... it's mostly the constant urge to go along with pain in that area that is only relieved by going.

Are there any over the counter UTI medication you can get until you find out to see if that helps with the pain?

I've had a UTI a couple times. I never cramped enough to notice but I felt like I had to pee every second and my area burned SO bad constantly and it was nearly impossible to sleep. About three days of cranberry and water and it was gone.
Drug stores have creams to help the pain but they're kind of pricey.

My last uti i was in agony with cramping. I could barely move with the pain. I also felt sick. I've never had the burning sensation. I usually just drink more to try and flush it out.

My UTI - totally fine until suddenly BAM I had that feeling to pee so bad, then I'd pee and OMG worst pain of my life!! (Haven't had children yet so I'm sure that'll change haha). Seriously though ouch! No cramps though unless you count trying to hold your pee on the way to the doctor and then staring at him with a look of pure hate when he explains you have to provide a pee sample and go through that pain again...

Well as my luck goes the pain completly vanished the following night and nothing since! My sample came back normal. So god knows what it was.
Maybe really bad constipation? I only ever got that when i was pregnant so i never really thought about it. Fingers crossed for a clear smear test now. Can not be doing with anymore disprutions with ttc! X

looks like i'm a bit late to the thread but i get an average of 2 UTIs a month. last year i had around 13 UTIs u__u

mine are a hot burning sensation when a go to the loo plus an almost pulling pain. after a few hours i may start passing blood too. these are the tell tale signs for me.

drink lots of water if you think it's a UTI and that will flush out the bacteria if it is. if you can get a hold of cranberry capsules too. take 1 a day to keep the bacteria from sticking to your urinary tract.

I used to suffer from frequent UTIs. My main symptoms were burning, cramps and sometimes a fever. It took several different types of antibiotic to get rid of my last one.
