What's average weight of baby at 34 weeks?

Ill be 34 weeks Friday and had a growth scan today (somthing to do with my bp which is fine now) and baby weighs just under 5lb.. That seems alot to me! Will she be a big baby? Surely with 6 weeks to go and 5lb already she will be massive?

Anyway just also want to say I have only put 3lb on!! Woooo!! Can't belive it , made me day

At my 34 week ultrasound she was estimated at 5lbs 4oz. And at my 37 week ultrasound (so 3 weeks later) she was estimated at 6lbs 1oz! We're expecting her to be an average 7 some odd pound baby. =)

Ohhhh right I was getting paranoid that she was going to be massive! But I guess nobody really knows till they are born lol

I was born at 35 weeks and was 5llb 4oz so your babys weight sounds about right!!

I had a 34 week ultrasound on Monday and baby was estimated at 5 lb 7oz. Dr said this was on the upper limits of normal for my height and weight, but still within normal range. I am preparing myself for a big baby though!!

Mine was like 4lb 11oz at my 34 week scan. But i've heard growth scans can be very unreliable..

Mine was 7.5lb at 34 weeks estimated weight at birth to be 9.5 to 10.5lb

My lil miss was estimated to weigh 6lb 3oz at my 33week growth scan with high fluid levels, so I've been told I'm in for a big baby and that my OB won't let me go past 40 weeks!

It sounds like you are measuring well for dates, not to small or to big

At 34 weeks my girl was 4 lb 13 oz, at 36 weeks she was 5 lb 13 oz and at 38 she was 6 lb 9 oz.

My lady was estimated at 4lb8oz at my 32 week growth scan so if the half LB per week thing is true then she would be about 5 and a half LB this weekend at 34 weeks.

I was 8lb and 2 weeks early so chances are she's on the big side too. (My fundal height has always been ahead)
