I'm worried if DD is getting enough milk and I kind of feel like she is starting to wean. Over the past 2 months she's slowly been taking less breastmilk at daycare (20oz down to 15oz). She's always eaten a ton of milk (probably 30oz a day). She sleeps through the night and has the following schedule:
6:30am - 20 min nursing session
7:30am - Breakfast (2-3oz solids)
9-10:30am - Nap
11am - 7.5oz bottle
12pm - Lunch (3-5oz solids)
1-2:30pm - Nap
3pm - 7.5oz bottle
4pm - Snack (small amount of finger food)
5:30pm - Dinner (3-5oz solids)
6:30pm - 20 min nursing session
I know the last feed of the day is backwards, but it's the only time that works for our schedule. The days she's not at daycare I nurse during the same times as bottle feeds and always nurse her on demand or around the time of a feed.
Today she was not interested in her 11am feed. I tried to nurse her again before her afternoon nap, but she didn't eat much milk. At this rate she'll have only 3 nursing sessions today. She just went to the drs last week and is in the 90th percentile for weight. Is 3 feeds a day normal at this age? Wondering to see what she does tomorrow.
