The 6 month milestone is fast approaching Alfie and he has been eating solids for about a month now. He goes to Nursery on a monday and has his lunch of Turkey, Potatoes and Broccoli.

I eat chicken like its coming out of my ears, that and mince.

I've only ever cooked him chicken casserole and stew with the odd jarred food for a bit of a change and so I'm in need of some new ideas.

My question is this though - At 6 months what sort of feeding schedule are you in and what's your lo eating?? Are they having anything between bottles and solid food like snacks??

Any advise much appreciated.

My LO has only just turned 6 months. At the moment he will have a 8oz bottle when he wakes at 7am (ish), he will have weetabix or similar for breakfast with fruit puree in it. He has also tried toast, which he eats VERY slowly lol

Lunch is about 12pm, generally something like chicken & veg / fish & chese sauce etc. Often followed by a yougrt.

He then has a bottle at 3pm (ish)

Dinner is at approx 5pm and is similar to lunch.

We are starting to introduce more and more new flavours like spagetti bolognase / pasta sauces etc.

I'd be interested in hearing what everyone else is giving.

Oh......and yes I do give snack sometimes. If he seems hungry and he's not due a bottle (he normally has 3 x 8oz a day), I give him fruit / organix carrot sticks / rice cakes etc

Morning bottle
Breakfast
Lunch
Mid afternoon bottle
Tea
Bedtime Bottle

With snacks in between

She has anything and everything. No added salt/etc.

Sorry it's short, on iPhone x
