Whats your cervix meant to feel like?

Ok now the whole Cervical Position thingy I've never understood it, but today I thought I'd give it a go.

Now what is ur cervix meant to feel like? Mine kinda felt like sausage shaped, very smooth with a little hole at the front, it was very forward, about 3inches from the opening of my vagina, now is this normal? I'm a little freaked out tbh lol

At this moment in time it sounds like your cervix is in a medium to low position.
The shape of the cervix is similar to the end of a Pen*s, and its position and texture will vary thoughout your cycle and will reflect your fertile period.

Yes thats what it feels like! I found an old post with the cervical pictures so I feel reassured I don't have an odd cervix lol

Sorry for tmi, but how far are you supposed to go up and at what angle?

it will vary, if your cp is high you might stuggle to touch it, if it's low you might find it surprising cloe to the entrance iykwim.

it you sit on the toilet or raise your leg on the seat live you would if you was inserting a tampon it should be easier to reach but if you are monitoring your cp then do the same reaching position each time as it will differ by method used as well.

Jayleigh, thats exactly how mine feels i started realising what i was feeling for about 2 weeks ago... theres also a little whole about the size of a small pea im not sure but i dont think its possible to get a finger in this hole. When the Cervix is high and soft it takes me some effort to feel it.. like a whole finger in there.....low and hard i felt that at the begining of my period (like 2 days before not actually while bleeding but i know others do and will)

Try it and see what you notice.

Lol, mine feels exactly as you described in the original post. and i can tell it's different positions kinda, but i'm not actually trying to feel it i just notice it sometimes

when it is low it should feel like a hard willy and when you rech you fertill days it rises up so it dose not hang down and can only feel the tip of it also the os opening feels like you can put youer finger tip in to it and really spongy soft.
