Browsing diaper bags today and it's hard to pick one. Of course I want something cute but it must be practical as well. I'm in the US if that changes what brands/stores are available. What ones are looking at/have?

We opted for the Skip Hop Duo because it's not very expensive and has pretty good reviews. The only concern I have is the size, since I tend to overpack my purse, and I feel like I'll do the same with the diaper bag! I've heard that the Duo is great, but a bit cramped if you plan to put cloth diapering supplies in it (which we'll do after the first couple months). We got a charcoal grey one because DH felt it was masculine enough for him to carry :haha: but I really liked the chevron one and a few other patterns. If you haven't checked them out before, you could take a look on Amazon.

Oh the chevron one is super cute! :haha: My mom ended up getting DH his own grey diaper backpack - it's a good size for him but not for me carrying snacks and purse items.

I am a huge Coach girl, so my parents surprised me with a Coach diaper bag. My mother found it pretty cheap on ebay (less than $75 when it retailed originally for $400), and it was perfect! It had a divider to help keep my stuff separated from her stuff, and all kinds of pockets for things like bottles/toys/snacks/etc. I plan to use it as an overnight carry bag once it's done pulling baby duty. And I've gotten a bunch of compliments on it. :haha: My husband has used it as well, but I did buy a smaller, more neutral bag for those rare occasions when he had her without me. (which I think he has used maybe once or twice... otherwise it's just been the Coach)

I went with a PPB weekender similar to this but with a slightly different print https://www.petunia.com/diaper-bags/weekenders/wistful-weekender-in-evening-in-islington I got it on sale on zulily about a month ago. It's really big but I tend to overpack  :dohh: so hopefully once I figure out what the baby actually needs (FTM) I may look into something smaller for quicker trips.

Petunia pickle bottom here also! Black quilted... It's perfect!

Oops. I dont have one yet! I knew I was missing something!

Just using a toddler backpack for my 13mth old so really need to get something bigger as I will have 2 sets of everything! Actually, I think I will make that my mission today, buy a changing bag!

Thank you for this thread!!!

I totally forgot I needed one of these :dohh:

Kitteh - Cute bag! I do love Coach's diaper bags, my MIL and SIL both have them for when they travel, I'm a bit envious lol.

Mrs Murphy & Mummy to be - Do share what bags you take a peak at or get today! lol

I just love these!!

I've had so many over the years including yummy mummy ones and il tutto ones, but I always end up going back to ju ju be.

This time I have a ju ju be hobobe in licorice twirl. It's gorgeous and is currently packed ready for hospital with all babies bits inside!

I'm a bag fiend. I have about 15 large ones that sit in the bottom of my wardrobe not doing much, so I'm opting to recycle and use them.

I think I've decided to use a large, 2 compartment jasper conran laptop bag. It's big, with separate pockets and 2 different parts to it, that both zip from the outside. So I can keep bum stuff and food stuff completely separate.

For shorter trips and visits, I have a large Harris Tweed luggage bag, that will fit in the essentials comfortably. (I can't find a photo online so I'll figure out how to attach a picture in a jiff haha)

I went for a yummy mummy changing bag this time! I really wanted one with dd but we had so many expensive things to but i couldnt justify it but this time wr havent had to buy anything big and expensive so i ordered it and i love it! Cant wait to start using it!

I'vE got a pacapod. I wanted this one:https://www.pacapod.com/firenze-124.html

However i'm planning on wrapping/baby wearing so needed a back pack style option instead so i settled with this one: https://www.pacapod.com/oban-172.html because it converts to a back pack as well so gives me option to change if i'm wearing baby

Well, I was boring and jusy ordered the Out n About changing bag to go with the double buggy. Not very exciting!

My coworker got me one off my registry. It's grey with green dots. With a removable adorable monkey. So cute. Totally forgot about the need for my OH to use it. Lol. He has a fancy North Face backpack.

I had a pink lining blooming gorgeous one last time. I loved it and it was perfect, ticked every box.
This time I'm going for a Skip Hop Studio!

Helen - Skip Hop has some super cute designs! There's one silver one that I have my eye on, but I love the pockets I found in a simple Carters bag that has owls and polka dots lol.
